Description

Join us for a day of hands-on, interactive learning with birds of prey. Taylor Berry, Lead Naturalist & Director of Avian Conservation, will lead a workshop for raptor enthusiasts who want to learn more about caring for and training captive birds. Beginners will learn best practices and techniques on the basics of raptor caregiving. We'll cover how to build an enclosure properly through weight management, and the beginning stages of the training program. As people who either are already raptor caregivers or have an interest in the caregiving of raptors, it is our responsibility to provide the most up-to-date care with the most relevant knowledge for the animals that are under our watch. Participating in classes like this is a great way to begin! Price of the workshop includes lunch.
