I don't hate rich people. I've worked for those who inherited it, and those who earned it. Like everyone else, some are cool, some are dicks/bitches. And maybe under Obama they paid that amount, but under Trump their tax rate went from 34% to 21% while the rest of us saw our tax rate go from ~25% to 34%. Here in California the cap on State/Local Income taxes meant most "home-owning" people who saw refunds in the past were now paying. And he allowed them to write off as deductions all of their overseas facilities, etc. Do you have that kind of write off? I know the average American does not. We might know someone overseas, but we don't have houses, employees, etc. So your assertion they are paying their fair share is a little off. Oh and Joe is the kind of guy who didn't want to be president. He wanted to retire. He has no "conquer the world" complex.
