Fun, Flexible Part Time Subbing -Summer Camp

Love working with kids and looking for fun part time summer work? We are looking for new staff who are available to substitute for our summer camp. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:30pm. This is not an on call job. Subs can say yes or no to offers of shifts. Shifts are either 4 hours or 8 hours and staff contact subs when they want to schedule time off. Ideally the sub job is for someone interested in year round flexible work, however if you are available from June 21st through August 27th that would work. You need not be available all days or hours to apply. Subs work an average of 15 hours a week, but can work as many as 40 for some weeks. Work for a great organization! Green Lake School Age Care Program (GLSA) is a state licensed, nonprofit social and emotional learning based child care program dedicated to creating meaningful relationships with children and working together with families to help raise caring, socially aware, happy and emotionally intelligent young people. Job duties: In addition to a staff dedicated to sanitizing our space all staff work to maintain the Covid safety policies through out the day. Staff work to provide a fun, playful and safe environment for children, facilitate planned activities with them, take them on outdoor play outings and help children with any social or emotional difficulties they experience. Job requirements: Staff are required to pass a back ground check upon hiring, be CPR/1st Aid certified or complete upon hiring, provide documentation of a negative TB test. All staff must be willing to maintain safe social distancing standards while employed with us. The program pays for/ reimburses for the cost of all required certifications. *Our program follows the Department of Health safety guidelines for Covid-19. Spaces are sanitized several times throughout the day, we create 6 feet of distance between play spaces whenever possible and staff, children and parents all where masks while at the center.
