Looking for someone that can do barn and farm chores. Weekend work 10 to 14 hours a weekend with options for more if desired. Must have some experience with horses. This job requires strength and stamina. Great opportunity for someone that likes to work independently with a somewhat flexible schedule and enjoys working with animals and people. MUST HAVE CLEAN BACKGROUND CHECK FREE OF MISDEMEANORS AND FELONIES. A background check will be performed prior to employment. Job Requirements: Must be reliable and dependable and understand the importance of the job. Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 100lbs Must have experience handling and working with horses Must be able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather Must have good communication skills both verbal and written in English Must be able to work effectively with management, staff and clients Must live within 20 to 30 minutes from Poulsbo, WA Must have references Job Qualifications: Excellent work ethic and desire to maintain and improve the facility Must be able to work independently and quickly Very important to have a good attitude and willingness to help Understand chain of command and take responsibility for the welfare of horses Job Duties: Clean and re-bed stalls and paddocks Clean turnouts and pastures Feed horses Turn horses out into pastures, turn-outs and stalls Empty garbage and sweep hallways Drive lawn tractors and farm tractors Other duties as directed (weeding, planting, raking, mowing, painting, etc...)
