MARINA DEL REY, CA — Authorities issued a Silver Alert Wednesday afternoon to help find a missing 75-year-old man who suffers from a medical condition and could become disoriented. Shedric Hunter, 75, was last seen April 28 around 4 a.m. near Lincoln Boulevard and Mindanao Way in Marina del Rey, according to the California Highway Patrol. He is described as having black hair, brown eyes, weighing 170 pounds, and 5 foot 7 inches, CHP reports. He is believed to be wearing dark clothing. Anyone who sees Hunter was asked to call 911. The Silver Alert program was established to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals, according to the CHP. - City News Service and Patch Editor Nicole Charky contributed to this report.
