MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —Thinking about catching a few waves Wednesday? Here's an update on surf conditions from Surfline via the South Bay Dawn Patrol.
For the morning hours, look for a combination of SSW and NW swells that are producing surf that's up to the waist for many spots throughout the bay, according to Surfline. There will be occasional peaks that hit the chest for top spots, the strongest in Manhattan northward, smaller to the south.
For the remainder of the day, there will be a small combination of SSW/NW swells with overall surf size expected to remain steady all day.
Onshore winds from the west will pick up, starting out light by mid-morning, then eventually becoming strong as we move into the afternoon, Surfline reports.
The tide will fill back into a 4' high by 11:36 a.m., with an incoming tide push helping in many spots. It will then drop back down to a 1.3' low by 4:44 p.m.
