DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Downers Grove has increased by 48 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). This week's increase is less than last week's, which showed a rise of 61 cases. As of April 20, the village had reported 3,967 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 4,015 as of April 27, reflecting a rise of just over 1.3 percent. The previous week's increase was 1.5 percent.
