JOB SUMMARY The position is responsible to perform general maintenance of the highway maintenance project assigned as it relates to storm water and drainage functions. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Cleans and grades ditches, drainage structures, highway road shoulders, slopes Operate equipment such as a skid steer, mini excavator Operation of chainsaw Use all equipment safely Other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 18+ years of age or older Valid driver's license CDL license preferred Must have transportation to and from Company office Be able to lift fifty to sixty pounds (50 - 60lbs.) Be able to comply with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy Be able to work overtime, nights and weekends Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather patterns Highway maintenance or construction skills are preferred
