Volunteers are essential in achieving the Alliant Hospice Mission. We seek talented and passionate volunteers to serve as part of our professional interdisciplinary team. The team works collaboratively to meet the holistic needs of our families and patients. We constantly welcome new volunteers to the Hospice Team. We currently are seeking Friendly Visitors to provide direct services to the hospice patient/family to include companionship and support, writing letters or reading to the patient, visiting, offering simple comfort measures for a patient, light housekeeping and performing errands for the family, respite care, and incorporate activities based upon the patient’s interests and condition. We serve the Denver Metro Area. Must commit to 4 hours of volunteering per week--this can be arranged to suit your schedule. Background check and 12 hours training required.
