Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 04/27/2021  211171103 Preliminary Information: On 4/27/21, around 2:14 pm, officers responded to a person shot at the location of 2015 Baker Rd. NW. Upon arrival, officers located a male with an apparent gunshot wound. The male was not alert, not conscious and not breathing and was confirmed deceased on scene by Grady EMS. Officers have one male suspect detained at this time and have contained the scene as homicide detectives respond to the location to investigate further. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.  Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
