We would consider a singer who can sing melodies(no yelling/growling). This will be a musically focused band, doing mainly originals(have 2 already written) but some obscure covers too, avoiding the overplayed hits. Open to outside influences as long as we stay within the intended genre. I don't really see any reference points beyond the early 1980s in order to keep the sound as intended. ears ago so am a bit rusty and not an issue if you are as well. Some musical reference points: early Grand Funk, Sabbath, early, Hendrix, Mountain.ur band project has many existing songs that require BASIC keyboard effects, ambiance, orchestra string sounds, and/or soundscapes/clips as well as help write, etc. Ability to perform background or vocals is a bonus but not required.
Must have transportation and a few hours availability on either a Fri, Sat or Sunday to meet in the Enfield area. Will be rehearsing, playing live and recording. Please send us an email and we will respond with info and samples if you have them.
