Melodic death metal band seeks bassist, lead guitar, and/or keyboards

I have written music for a long time, and have a project with 4 albums recorded. I used to play live with a group many years ago, and my old drummer and I have rekindled the idea of playing live again. There are plenty of established songs to pick from with tabs/sheets available for learning. The songs nearly all would work best as a 5-piece, so we're looking for: bass, lead guitar, and keyboards/synths. Rehearsal plans are once a month at most, and we'd only plan on doing a few select shows a year as we're both busy with multiple jobs and other endeavors. Ideally you: - Play one of the instruments we're looking for - Enjoy playing all originals and can respect the source material (minimal wiggle room to make things your own, I'm not looking for songwriters to rewrite things) - Excel at self-study for learning music - Are fine with a relaxed schedule of a rehearsal only once every 4-6 weeks - Enjoy melodic death/black/progressive metal music - Have no substance abuse issues (1-2 drinks is one thing, but if you need to be wasted to play music, I'm not interested) - Drama-free and not a jerk, humility is welcome - Are apolitical or share similar political beliefs; there are libertarian/conservative themes in some of my lyrics - Have a job and transportation I'm happy to talk details via email to start, and I'd be pleased to meet if we're a potential fit.
