The USA has the largest economy on earth. A 22 trillion dollar GDP. The irs collect 3 trillion a year in taxes and leaves another 2 trillion on the table because the republicans refuse to staff the IRS and audit the rich people. Go Figure? The USA doesn’t print money out of thin air. We issue treasury bonds that we sell. We sold 80 billion dollars worth of bonds last month. We also bought back 20 billion in treasuries last month. When anyone can borrow at negative interest rates. Which is what the government is doing now, it’s the perfect time to spend money on our infrastructure, economy and our poor. The republicans only worry about fiscal responsibility when we have a democratic president. I bet a dollar your a republican.
