Description
Cuddles is a (mostly) great little dog. She's super cute, super friendly, loves attention, and has pretty good manners.
But, she's a typical Tibetan spaniel. TS's love to explore and if they think they can get away with it, they have a mind of their own. If the front door opens, Cuddles bolts out and spends the next hour (or three!) exploring the neighborhood. She is also expert at getting out of harnesses (regular collars contain her pretty well). Eventually she finds her way back home but folks in our neighborhood are not fond of stray dogs on the loose. She is house trained but if she doesn't feel like waiting, she has two inside places she chooses to use as her personal latrine. Typical Tibetan characteristics.
Until recently those were only minor annoyances. Alas, both my husband and I have developed significant med issues that prevent us from chasing after her. During a couple of her recent escapades, I thought my hubby was (quite literally) going to have a heart attack trying to find & retrieve her. In our current medical condition, we simply cannot keep her.
Her rehoming fee is exactly what we have in her--$160 (firm). Whoever gets her must have a fenced yard, experience with dogs and an established vet relationship.
Please note we will not ship the dog--if you are not local, it will not work out.
