Come join one of the oldest family owned Truck/SUV aftermarket accessories shops in Austin. For the past 35 years (founded 1986), we have served the Austin area working with retail customers and new car dealers to provide any and all automotive aftermarket accessories and installation for primarily Ford, Chevy, Dodge, and Toyota trucks. We typically work on NEW vehicles straight from the dealership, selling and installing aftermarket accessories (for example, but not limited to): - Suspension Lift Kits - Tires and Wheels - Spray On Bedliners - Grill Guards - Front and Rear Bumper Replacements - Auxiliary Fuel Tanks - Flatbeds - Service Bodies - Step Bars - Light Bars - Bedcovers - Leather Installation - And more.... We are seeking an experienced tech. for aftermarket installation (mechanic / tech.) This position is Full-Time 40-50 hours a week with regular overtime. Shop hours are 7AM-5PM (M-F) with very limited weekend days (maybe once a year). We DO NOT use "Flag" hours. Job Responsibilities: - Installation of aftermarket truck accessories (see above) - Performing work specified on work orders with efficiency and in accordance with shop standards - Meet all in store and OSHA safety requirements - Perform other duties as assigned, being flexible to help accomplish entire store goals Job Qualifications: - Strong work ethic - Willingness to learn new things and be open to others ideas/perspectives - Ability to work well with others - Provide strong customer service ( as needed ) - Ability to clearly communicate (English) - Must be reliable and available to work - Need to own and have available your own working tools - Prior automotive aftermarket installation experience is required - Any certifications or trade school documentation is a plus (but not required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
