GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an individual to fill our Permit/Production Technician position. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to self-manage, problem solves and be proficient with technology. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Obtain building permits for upcoming projects -Schedule mid/final inspections -Set ladders for final inspections -Provide support for production team members -Provide excellent customer service -Problem solve in the field -Quality Assurance -Maintain a safe and clean worksite QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB Experience: -Experience in roofing is a plus but not required -Construction aptitude -Handy with tools Other: -Self-managed -Respond well to both verbal and written direction -Self-motivated -Organized KEY COMPETENCIES -Construction skills -Computer competency REQUIREMENTS -Clean MVR (Company vehicle is provided after a probationary period) -Background check PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS -Climb a minimum of 16’ ladder -Lift a minimum of 50 lbs -Drive a minimum of 2 hours a day
