ADU city plans submission

I am altering my detached garage into an ADU. I have spoken with the city and am trying to submit plans to start my project. I am doing a lot of the work myself except electric and plumbing. I do not know how to write up these plans. Has anyone done this before and is willing to help me get these submitted and through the process? I do not know how much this service should cost so if you are interested I can show you where I am and you can give me a quote. I am ready to do this now, the submission is holding me up. Thank you.
