About Founded in 2016, Masa’s mission is to build a viable economy for local and regenerative agriculture. Our product is an online marketplace where 1. local vendors own their accounts, list their products and benefit from our fulfillment service 2. shoppers pick and choose exactly what they want from multiple vendors and get the assorted orders through pickup or contactless delivery. Our delivery area currently covers Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie and Vancouver. We are looking for a positive, can-do team member with high attention to details to join our growing fulfillment team. Experience in farming operations, farmers market or food delivery preferred. This is an on-call position, opening availability is based on our weekly order volume. What you'll do 🍏 Follow safety requirements - Follow hygiene guidelines like wearing masks and regular hand-washing or sanitizing - Practice social distance 🍏 Set up - Unload equipment and tables - Set up tables and sort stations - Sanitize work surfaces 🍏 Fulfill - Check in products dropped off by vendors - Organize products into marked sections - Prepare orders for pick-up or delivery 🍏 Break down - Clean up surfaces - Take down tables and clean up boxes - Load equipment and tables Basic requirements ✓At least 18 years of age ✓Legal authorization to work in the U.S. ✓Be able to lift up to 40lbs without accommodation ✓Have access to a smartphone ✓Available on Saturdays 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM Perks ✓Start earning quickly ✓Great for anyone looking for seasonal, entry-level, temporary or any type of part-time opportunities ✓Collaborative environment at a mission-driven growing startup that values feedback and ideas ✓$13.50/hour starting rate.
