Evans Grader and Paving is a small family owned construction business that is dedicated to serving our customers and their needs. This will be a part time job, and we are willing to work around reasonable schedules. Up to 30 hours with the possibility of full time in the summer or after graduation. Responsibilities Repair equipment as needed (including, but not limited to, bulldozers, backhoes, front end loaders, track hoes, yard trucks, dump trucks, company cars, and other various small equipment). Responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of a significant nature on all types of equipment and/or assisting with repairs/improvements/maintenance of equipment to assure it is in safe working condition. Accurately complete work orders or other maintenance repair documentation. Diagnoses and repairs differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems. Safely operate equipment, standard and specialty tools, welders, hoists and other lifting devices, etc. on a daily basis. Troubleshooting equipment maintenance problems to properly diagnose components to determine method and extent of repair necessary. Read, interpret, analyze and apply information in technical manuals and schematics.
