Seasonal positions available, 36 to 40 hours per week, available Mid-June through October at our oceanfront hotel. To apply, call (609) 399-8812 and leave a message for the Executive Housekeeper Room Attendants are responsible for cleaning the guest rooms and common areas of the hotel. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime. What you will be doing: -Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and lounges as well as guest rooms -Organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures -Distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand -Restock room supplies -Replace dirty linens with clean items -Inspect and turn mattresses regularly -Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy -Check all appliances in rooms are in working order -Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout -Respond to guest queries and requests and calls for housekeeper problems -Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms -Organize and restock cart at the end of the shift -Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms -Follow all company safety and security procedures -Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards -Observe and report damage of hotel property Hotel Overview: The Port-O-Call Hotel has been an idyllic family vacation resort noted for its excellent service and fine surroundings since 1966. The hotel is located in the heart of Ocean City, New Jersey overlooking the Ocean City Boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean. It boasts indoor and outdoor dining with seating for 100 patrons and a panoramic ocean view. The hotel has 98 rooms, Penthouse, Porthouse and Conference Rooms. Requirements -Prior work experience as a room attendant or housekeeper preferred -Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products -Good physical health and stamina -Flexibility to work in shifts -Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards -Excellent customer service skills -Attention to detail
