Help Wanted on Horse Farm - Horse Caretaker &/or Grooming 4 DAYS A WEEK!! Monday - Thursday 7:30/8:00AM start time Looking to add a new contractor to the team! Strong back and a strong work ethic is required, and you must be able to regularly lift 40-50 pounds and work in all weather. We have a small 11 horse farm and we're looking for EXPERIENCED barn help who are detail oriented and Love horses. Please do not respond if you don’t have horse experience!! We are looking for a reliable worker to care for 11 horses. We need someone that understands and can handle horses in a kind manner, able to operate farm equipment, be able to lift heavy items, and be a self-starter that takes pride in their work. We offer a family friendly and supportive work environment. The Horse Caretaker Job Description Work including but not limited to the following: putting feed together for daily meals, taking horses in/out of pasture, applying fly masks and blankets. The contractor will be paid $95 per day for completion of the Horse Caretaker duties. The job starts around 8:00am, but we can be flexible by a half hour either way. In addition, we have a second job on the same days/times for Grooming the horses. This pays additional and could be grouped in same day with caretaking duties, for a total of $165/day. The Grooming tasks pays $70/day and includes the following duties: bringing horses in from pasture, grooming, tack up horses, untack, and clean gear. Both positions are available immediately and one can earn cash in hand by end of week. These are Full Time contractor positions.
