Area of Responsibility:
The Warehouse Associate is accountable for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, handling, moving, picking, loading, unloading, and shipping of product for customer delivery in a safe and orderly fashion.
Accountabilities:
• Safely operate all the required equipment in work area
• Complete tanker paperwork and forward to Materials & Production Manager
• Blend products as needed
• Fill drums and totes for shipment
• Prepare totes for shipments
• Accurately pick and process orders for shipment in BPA, FedEx, and UPS systems
• Complete receiving paperwork for all deliveries of purchased items, including labels, raw material totes, corrugated packaging, etc.
• Complete receiving paperwork on inbound transfers
• Provide support for fill line and blending area
• Double check all orders for accuracy prior to shipping
• Maintain a clean warehouse
• Complete returns paperwork and forward to customer service
• Maintain accurate processing of inventory movement into BPA systems
• Pull samples on inbound raw material totes and forward to lab for QC process testing
• Accurately placing materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner
• Other duties as assigned
Required skills:
• Basic math and reasoning skills
• Ability to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code
• Hazmat certified
• 5 years lift truck certified (standup and sit-down)
• 3 years of shipping and receiving
• Ability to read and speak English
• Basic computer skills
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Physical Demands & Work Environment
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, climb, push, pull, and work in cramped spaces
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Wear proper PPE per Precision Laboratories and OSHA requirements
