Warehouse Manager/Supervisor needed for a growing event design company based in Gaithersburg MD. The person interested needs to have the following skills: - Previous experience with event design and fabrication firms preferred - Extensively meticulous about perfection - Extremely punctual - Able to multitask and manage team of 20 people and above - Able to follow instructions and also enforce it on his/her team - Computer knowledge is required. Must be able to use general Microsoft Office suite and other business related app used for work - Is able to work long and odd hours - Able to improvise in situations where needed - Is a huge team players Work involves but is not limited to the following: - Manage a team of 4 crew members dedicated to the warehouse during weekdays - Manage overall inventory counts - Manage load outs and returns for events during weekends/weekdays - Manage schedule for his/her team - Keep overall warehouse/showroom in pristine condition - Manage multiple event load ins at a given time - Ensure that event teams are leaving on time (be present at the warehouse when the crew is supposed to leave) - Ensure that event teams are bringing items in the condition they were sent (be present when the crew is returning from events) - Manage any event related pickups and drop offs - Manage general warehouse related tasks assigned by the Managers from different departments You will be assigned a team member from each department that has other people reporting to them. You will be an overall manager for everyone working in the warehouse and ensure smooth operation of tasks and preparation work for events. Note: Previous experience with event design or floral design companies is preferred but we are open to all resumes interested. Workload varies depending on the event season.
