Seeking Entry Level Utility Worker Capstone Solutions is seeking an entry level Utility Technician for the Greater Portland area. No prior experience is necessary, but some construction experience is preferred also, you must be willing to travel (per diem provided) and work with a bucket truck and utility poles. Responsibilities: -Learn to Install, small cell equipment on utility poles and prep in our shop. -Learn to assist or operate our bucket truck, set poles and other structures to install, reconfigure and repair small cell and other antenna and cable equipment. -Learn to operate electronic test equipment including cable testers, fiber testers, battery testers and other RF analysis equipment. -Learn to install outdoor cell site systems including cabinets, associated conduits, and small cell equip. -Learn to troubleshoot and evaluate data related to small cell systems. -Learn to perform power, fiber optic, cat5/cat6, waveguide and coaxial cable installations and testing. -Learn to read Scope of Work (SOW) documents and delivers project outcomes to scope and as directed. Traffic control experience would greatly help. Qualifications: -Ability to work at heights up to 60ft. -Must be able to work outside of normal business hours (i.e., shift work), to include nights and weekends, when needed. -Self-starter with the desire and ability to learn and retain new knowledge. -Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal communication skills. -Good work ethic and positive attitude. -Reliability and a team mentality are a must. -Ability to learn and retain physical and mechanical installation specifications. -Ability to pass preliminary drug screening, criminal background check and driving background check. -Able to lift, carry, push, pull 75+ lbs. -Must be reliable, punctual, and able to learn and retain new information. -Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
