Carla Properties, Ltd. has an immediately opening for an experienced, motivated Maintenance Technician. We'd like you to join our team maintaining a 360 unit apartment community in Hillsboro. Position is full time (40 hours per week) including one weekend day and on-call shifts. Duties include: Routine and emergency service requests, preventative maintenance projects. Assist resident manager with preliminary inspections. Complete painting/caulking Appliance repair and electrical Drywall repair including doors, molding and trim work Necessary maintenance needed for rent-ready condition, including trash removal, mold and mildew remediation. Travel to other properties to cover for staffing shortages and/or emergency response as necessary. Qualified candidates must maintain professional appearance and demeanor while performing duties. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, use basic hand tools, kneel, squat and bend for vinyl flooring installation, maintain pool chemical balancing, painting grounds maintenance (trash pickup/disposal), visually inspect and troubleshoot various household components to including appliances, heaters, lighting ballasts, etc. During COVID-19 we have maintained a high level of disinfecting and cleanliness within our offices and follow all appropriate protocols in our workplaces.
