Location: Portland, OR (97211) FT/PT Status: Full Time Shift: Night - Start time 4:30pm Hourly Rate: $14.00 United Salad Co. is locally owned and is one of the largest independently owned produce companies in the Pacific Northwest. We pride ourselves in our prompt service, the quality of our products, and customer satisfaction. United Salad Co. is currently seeking Sanitation associates for day shift. Job Responsibilities: -Collecting, sorting, and properly staging refuse from assigned work areas -Routine safety sweeps in assigned areas -Down-stacking product as needed -Safe operation of trash and cardboard balers -Other departmental related duties as required -Forklift and/or EPJ experience a plus, in-house certification course will be provided Job Qualifications: -Must be able to work in a chilled/wet environment between 34°-55° -Must be able to read and follow instructions -Able to be standing for up to 10+ hours per shift -Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen including THC -Must be able to work weekends and holidays and have the ability to work with split days off Applicants must be 18+ years of age and have a valid driver license. Position is contingent upon a successful background check, an acceptable motor vehicle records checks, and pre-employment drug screen (including THC).
