a great opportunity for someone that needs extra work and has flexibility to be available with 2 days of notice. generally 4 - 5 days a week with some of them being half days. the pay with tips is $25+/hr, never below 20 - especially on small jobs. big jobs happen once or twice a week and longer distance jobs that are overnight happen about once a month and pay great. you should be within 15mi of TVC to make small jobs worth it. you have to be in great shape and pretty strong to handle both long days and heavy items. summer is the busy season generally and there will be a few 6-7 day streaks($900 - 1,400/wk). there can also be some 2 day weeks($100 - 200). from may - sept the average is $500+/week in 25 hours or less. unless there's a lot of road time about 30 hours is as busy as it gets and enough exercise for anyone. communication is important because the schedule is being updated constantly and with 2 of us working most of the time there's no time to find a replacement within a couple days before the job. after booking a job i immediately get in contact with the date, time and a general overview. confirmation needs to happen in pretty short order to let the client know if we have an issue and make adjustments - one of the most important parts of the job. there is room for advancement if you're insurable as a driver(25+ clean record) and can run a job with another helper. please give me a call if interested. i plan to collect names and set up interviews that include a small job 1 - 3 hours. starting as early as tomorrow. i will take down this post when the position is filled. thanks! dave 231.633.2375
