Dermestid Beetles are a great way to deepen your understanding of life cycles and are a perfect addition to any hunter’s collection to allow for in home taxidermy(European mounts). We are looking to downsize our colony as they grow FAST. We started with about 2000 and I would guess we have closer to 5000-8000 less than a year later. I’m offering approximately 1000 beetles for $100 with basic care instructions and local delivery. In short, these beetles are phenomenal at cleaning bones and are simple to care for- +Keep them warm enough(between 70-85 is ideal, we use a reptile heater stick to the side of our 20gal tank glass) +Keep them fed(they’ll eat the meat you forgot about in your freezer, the more freezer burnt the better as this is also how they hydrate) +Keep them safe(Colony must be enclosed to prevent mites or flies from contaminating) Let me know if you’re interested.
