dave horner missing

Description

David Horner left Portland OR on April 14th and was headed to Reno via I-5. He was last heard from on the 15th when he called me and said he was in Eugene. We had a brief conversation and he was supposed to call me back shortly but never did. The next time a call was made to his phone was by his brother Brian Ebeling that evening and a woman who he did not recognize answered and told him that David was dead. David has still not been seen in Portland nor did he ever arrive in Reno. His cell phone has been traced to Sacramento but we have not had any sign of him in 5 days now. He also carries a computer and in the event that he lost his phone I believe that he would know to get on wifi somewhere and facebook his family. He could be anywhere between Portland and Reno. David goes by Dave he is caucasian about 6 feet tall 160lbs he has brown hair and blue green eyes. He has a goatee which is mostly grey. He was wearing a turquoise stud earring in his left ear. He mostly wears all black and had a pair of adidas skater shoes on with a black coat and black beanie he almost always wears a hat. David has a dragon tattoo on his left arm and his last name Horner in old english across the top of his back. He was driving a 2006 dark silver grey VW Jetta with dark tinted windows which he just bought before leaving portland it did not have any plates on it. If he lost his phone he probably wouldn't remember his familys contact numbers and might possibly have a difficult time getting in touch with us in the event that he was stranded. I have driven from Portland to California and scoured every gas station truck stop and rest stop and found no trace of him. I've checked jail rosters and hospitals and nothing. We have filed police reports in Portland and Eugene and Im thinking Sacramento next. Its been 5 days now since anyone has heard from or seen Dave this is very unlike him and we are all extremely worried. I beg of you please if you have any info please for the love of god let us know or if you see him make sure he gets my number or call the police. This is agony people please repost and share and get the word out there. Thank you.
