JOB SUMMARY Monday-Friday 8am-5pm • Repair, break down, cleaning and assembly of Servo Motors • Test functionality of each unit repaired • Order parts as necessary for each unit processed • Update tracking notes in the computer system reflecting the steps take to repair each unit • Component level repairs using good soldering and troubleshooting skills • Basic and specialized servo motor shop tools and test equipment ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Bench level electronic and electro-mechanical repair tasks using industry standard trouble shooting, repair and soldering skills • Documentation in Salesforce of actions taken on each item • Use of basic and specialized servo motor shop tools and test equipment • Proper motor disassembly and reassembly • Pre-cleaning and diagnostic evaluation • Perform preventive maintenance • Remove and replace bearings • Test electrical and servo feedback devices • Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes along with manufacturers software • Use of Mitchell Diagnostics System for feedback device test and alignment QUALIFICATIONS • Must understand the repair of Motors and Servo Motors • Strong technical skills • Must be organized and process driven KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED • Strong Computer proficiency • Being able to multi-task • Ability to work at fast pace • Ability to work independently • Detail oriented • Good troubleshooting abilities • Demonstrated soldering skills • Problem solving abilities • Good communication skills EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • High School Diploma and/or Technical School Certification required (related field) • Three years related experience and/or training • Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Occasional reaching/working overhead, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling • Frequent walking • Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion • Lifting requirements include occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds
