We are in search of reliable, proactive, and adaptable team members to work in warehousing. This position offers stable and predictable work hours, transferrable skills, and educational and credentialing opportunities. DAYTIME HOURS, MONDAY - FRIDAY AVAILABLE. Position Purpose: Performs diverse warehouse and assembly duties within the warehouse setting. Receives daily deliveries of donated goods and other contracted work. Sorts, assembles, palletizes, and wraps according to the specification of job. Loads and unloads trucks and keeps warehouse organized. Specific Duties: 1. Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette. 2. Emptying rolling bins and gaylords of miscellaneous equipment and other product. 3. Receiving of donated goods and product from Goodwill transportation department. 4. Performs industrial assembly functions and other assembly operations as needed. 5. Safe operation of baling machine and forklift. (each of these tasks are done, only after proper and successful training has taken place). 6. Daily cleaning and organizing the warehouse area. 7. Sorting donated computer equipment and peripherals on to pallets and into gaylords pursuant to the sorting and packing guidelines provided to Goodwill from the receiving vendor(s)/buyer(s) of such donated computer equipment and peripherals. 8. Sorts, assembles, and palletizes all industrial services product according to the required specifications of the job. 9. Periodic testing of some donated computer equipment and peripherals as needed and as directed. 10.Follows all company policies and safety procedures. 11. Regular attendance is required. 12. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
