ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to read, write, count, and possess a comprehension of measurements/fractions. Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas requests, and problems to fellow employees, and supervisors on a one-to-one basis, as well as over the phone and in written form. Must be able to learn and comprehend job assignments, possess good memory, and recall abilities. Ability to perform physical labor demanding moderate to heavy work, and at times very heavy work. Ability to supervise employees in their assigned functions, to assure proper standards of quality and quantity of goods produced are accomplished. SUPERVISORY DUTIES: Supervises production workers to maintain and meet production schedules based on the instructions of Plant Manager. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skill, Ability, Education, and Experience: Knowledge - Experience in production control procedures to schedule, order, control inventories, and analyze facts in production situations to determine the proper action to be taken. Ability to operate hand and power machinery. Skill - Capable of performing physical labor demanding moderate to heavy work, and at times very heavy work. Must possess the ability to lead and direct workers. Ability - Supervise and coordinate activities of others. Able to communicate thoughts, ideas, requests, and problems to employees, and managers on a one-to-one basis, as well as over the phone and in written form. Must be able to learn and comprehend job assignments, problem-solving skills, possess good memory, and recall abilities.
