NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING Removal of Public Shade Trees City of Cambridge, Department of Public Works Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, Sections 3 and 4, a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 5th, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. on a Zoom webinar to consider the removal of the following public tree(s): 110 Cambridge Street – Removal of 2 zelkova trees (5.5” & 6.4” dbh) due to streetscape improvements. Location will be replanted. 125 Cambridge Street (in front of old Lechmere T Station) - Removal of 3 pear trees (4”, 4.7”, & 6.2” dbh) due to streetscape improvements. Location will be replanted. 125 Cambridge Street (near Monsignor O’Brien Hwy) – Removal of 4.5” dbh elm tree due to streetscape improvements. Location will be replanted.
