Now hiring Paint Booth Technicians for work in Michigan City! Trillium Staffing is now seeking Paint Booth Technicians for temp-to-hire work! This is 1st Shift - Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p. The pay rate is $16-$18/hr. This entry-level position will paint structural steel, pipe, valves, and other component parts used for our modular systems. Job Duties: -Prepare paint and ensure proper mixing for customer requirements. -Responsible for painting mil thickness according to customer specifications. -Responsible for maintaining and cleaning paint guns and equipment. -Exceptional attendance. -Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements. -Ability to effectively perform position of Paint Prepper on the floor at any point in time. -Prep materials by high pressure wash or sand blast materials. -Load and unload paint booth with materials. -Stage material for curing. -Perform set-up, material handling duties, and minor general maintenance. -Responsible for area housekeeping. -Participate in the processes of continuous improvement. -Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals. -Perform other duties as assigned.
