Retired Gent. I love to sing. I'm feeling the need to feel the kind of love only music can provide. Getting back into the groove, so to speak. I would like to get together with a small group of experienced, quality laid-back players and have some serious fun. My comfortable range is baritone to tenor, from Sinatra to doors vocal styles, but capable of various genre types. Soft, hard and classic rock, 50's 60's and beyond; jazzy blues (shuffles like Kansas City in b flat), and Motown. I enjoy songs with lots of harmonizing: Beatles, Stones, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Simon and Garfunkle, etc. Even mix it up with some country style tunes, like Waylon Jennings, and old-time Crooners. I have experience with performing and recording. As Berry Gordy once said, musicians do best when the ego is left outside the door--mine always will be.
