Even though some of us Senior Citizens are not hired for music anymore, is because of our ages and some don't believe that we still have it. To me, that is nonsense! It just means we have more experience than some others.
Just wish I could find someone else that believes what I do. I am a Senior Citizen and spend much singing time on my Karaoke (sure wish it was something living).
I have been singing professionally since the 1960's and nothing else has thrilled me more. Was even with an 18-piece orchestra in California. What a great time. Was with R&R band when I started, then combos.
Just to inform you that I have been doing this for a long time and I know some others out there might want to "rehearse" with others, since clubs and other places will not hire us "oldies".
So, what I am seeking, of course, are the ones who would like to come over and just practice some more. It would be such a thrill for me, and hopefully for you also.
By the way, my music that I do, is pop, blues, jazz, and some country.
