Special Needs Havanese

Year and a half year old Havanese with Chronic health issue. He needs blood work periodically to check blood platelet levels. He takes a very low dose of prednisone every other day to remain healthy. He may not come off of them. He is otherwise a happy youth. He is housebroken. About 18 or so pounds. Cute! His issue, he loves to bark at about anything...cars, someone at the door, the mailman, people walking down the street. He also loves to run and run. We live on a street that has lots of traffic, driving and foot traffic. My husband works from home and is fed up. He is fixed. He is also microchipped. He has had his shots.. but he is do for boosters. We delayed because he had been sick. His vet is Dr. Scmunk, North Davidson Vet. His meds run about 20 every 90 days. As I mentioned, he needs periodically to have his levels checked. He gets along with everyone... although he can be shy for the first 5 minutes. I want to find him a home with a person with patience, time, and the resources to care for him. He enjoys being groomed. Going for walked, playing fetch,and snuggling. Fenced yard required. Vet reference required. Ps. I may be able to get him to the vet for his boosters and get his levels checked and another RX. If so, I will ask that in addition to the small fee I am asking.
