Traveling Maintenance Technician we offer Travel pay Hotel and Peridium Also (PAID training Provided) Requirements – Some knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for the position of a Maintenance Technician A professional maintenance technician will be expected to possess the following aptitude and qualifications of duties:  Experience as a paint booth technician with intensive knowledge of paint booth operation and repair  High school diploma  Possess a valid drives license  Strong knowledge of paint booth mechanicals, filtration, air flow, and control systems  Exceptional ability to perform in noisy, humid, hot and dangerous machine environments  Ability to lift heavy items including overhead  Ability to use and climb folding and extension ladders  Work well in a team environment  Self-sufficient and motivated- this position is remote and will require a go-getter  A hunter mentality; while this is not a sales position, we’re looking for a candidate focused on being productive and playing a role in CTS continued growth and success. As a service technician you may run into any or all of the following paint booth issues. o No heat o Booth not firing up o Excess vibration of fan rendering booth unusable o Pressure issues- positive or negative o Ceiling fans or blowers down o VFD is blown o Booth coating (sprayable ) M Dirt Trap, Booth Wrap) needs to be removed and replaced o Intake/exhaust/pre-intake/post-exhaust filters need to be changed o Multiple ballasts and/or bulbs out within the booth Some responsibilities and/or attributes of excellent Service Technician candidates include:  Guarantee that all safe work procedures and security guidelines are adhered to  Good Communication Skills: inquire with shop staff about booth function, operation and any issues or concerns. Always look for additional service items and/or parts needed for optimal booth operation.  Working knowledge of paint booth mechanicals, electrical, pneumatic systems, and overall operation of paint booths  Troubleshooting of equipment problems- critical thinking is key  Proficient in use of multi-meter, volt meter, air flow gauges, and other diagnostic tools  Complete maintenance care obligations and render assistance in equipment repair as necessary, including changing of filters  Ensure proper operation of mechanicals and other booth systems by ensuring completion of preventative maintenance on mechanicals including, motors, dampers, fans, bearings and pneumatic actuators  Take out inoperative parts by disassembling devices with the use of cranes, hoists, hand and power tools  Regulate downtime by enlightening production staff on standard preventive maintenance methods and monitoring their compliance.
