Visual Arts Exploration Series Workforce Opportunity Services (WOS), a leading non-profit organization connecting individuals from underserved populations with transformative career opportunities, has added another cost-free online Visual Arts Exploration series aimed at expanding your horizons in the arts. Our next cost-free Visual Arts Exploration series begins this FRIDAY. Come join us for another exciting venture into the Visual Arts. This series will cover a variety of themes to include: Window to the East - A look at the history and influence of Asian Art and Artists Mother & Child - A celebration of Mother's Day Alice Neel and Friends - A profile of Alice Neel's exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as well as a review of Artist Jordan Casteel and The New Yorker writer Hilton Als Grief and Grievances: Art and Mourning in America - An intergenerational exhibition, bringing together thirty-seven artists working in a variety of mediums who have addressed the concept of mourning, commemoration, and loss Developed and led by art history expert, Helen Lee.
