Looking for steady bass who can patiently hold down one note in parts when called-for. Who understands playing 3rds, 5ths, not just root notes over chords etc. Moderation, modest, skilled but tasteful, not overbearing. It's about what notes you play, not how many notes you can rattle-out in the the shortest amount of time. Looking for someone who will communicate, including by telephone, and stick it out without excuses. It takes time sometimes to arrange everyone together at the same time. Serious inquiries, however I for one think playing music is fun. Inquire if you want to play tomorrow, next week, next month, next year etc. No out of the blue leaving town, leaving the country, or any other sudden lame phony excuses. Serious follow-through inquiries from those who honestly want to play music please.
