Searching for others interested in community living in a rural area to share responsibilities and living space. The vision includes finding affordable housing with tolerance for pets, responsible drinking, responsible use of legal Cannabis products and for respectful use of tobacco products. Community members would support and respect one another. Members would value tolerance for personality traits and demonstrate compassion and caring with regard to medical and behavioral health needs. Positive regard would be a key element in creating a warm and supportive atmosphere. Illegal activity would not be permitted. Violent and abusive behaviors would not be tolerated. Use of derogatory, discriminatory and aggressive speech would be strongly discouraged. The Details: Find property with housing that could be purchased or rented with contributions from community members. For rented property: goal contribution per member would be no more than $500/month with expenses share no more than $100/month For property that might be purchased: goal contribution per member would be no more than $30,000 with monthly expense of owners not to exceed $100/month (taxes and insurance) and goal utility share of no more than $100/month ; non-owner member could join as renters with goal rent not to exceed $500/month and expenses share no more than $100/month Property Qualities: Small acreage (peaceful surroundings) with either multiple dwellings or with one large dwelling that allows for private quarters with access to a bathroom not to be shared by more than 2 people per bathroom, with access to a shared kitchen, shared living space, shared laundry space and shared outdoor space. Pets to be welcomed and cared for as part of the community. Community protocols and guidelines to be established by members.
