General Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Know and comply with the company’s safety rules, policies and OSHA regulations including injury/incident/near miss reporting procedures. Bring problems to attention of Foreman, Supervisor, Superintendent, Safety Director, or Human Resource Manager. 2. Fill out pre-trip and post-trip inspections every time the vehicle is used and submit to shop superintendent. 3. Keep truck clean at all times maintaining a safe work environment. 4. Drive in a safe manner at all times, always wearing a seatbelt. 5. Drive truck to job sites and successfully complete all customer, client and supervisor request in a professional and timely manner. 6. Receive orders in a professional manner. 7. Accept payment for Patio World deliveries in a professional manner and promptly deliver payment to the office staff (where applicable). 8. Fill out daily log forms when necessary and submit to supervisor. 9. Report maintenance problems to mechanics. 10. Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects; perform manual work in preparing surfaces for paving. 11. Operate hand and power tools as needed. 12. Shovel concrete into construction area from a pump or a chute of a concrete truck. 13. Maintain a clean job site by picking up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards. 14. Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials. 15. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
