Rise Coterie: Women's Self Defense Seminar Rise Coterie is partnering with Next Generation MMA HQ in Frisco for our May event! Our coach Chris Brennan is a 5th degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and an MMA pioneer who competed professionally from 1994 until 2012 for the UFC, PRIDE, Cage Rage, King of the Cage, and Shooto. Highly decorated, Chris is a former King of the Cage Middleweight Champion, former King of the Cage Middleweight Superfight Champion, three time IBJJF No-Gi Black Belt World Champion (2013-2015), and he also won the 2014 Nogi Pan Americans. In honor and recognition of his contributions, Chris was inducted into the MMA Hall of Fame in 2014. Chris founded and owns Next Generation MMA (est. 1998) where he offers jiu-jitsu, boxing, wrestling, Muay Thai, and MMA classes. He has fought all over the world, and now has Next Generation affiliates throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia. This free event is an opportunity to step outside of your comfort zone and become aware of different ways you can defend yourself in uncertain situations. Everyone who attends will receive a free week trial of (jiu-jitsu, boxing, Muay Thai, and wrestling)!
