Volunteer to help vaccinate another 600+ fellow community members. Thanks for volunteering with the Manor Vaccine Project. Our mission is to safely get as many shots into arms as possible. We are focused on vaccinating people in rural, eastern Travis County where residents do not have as many options to get the COVID-19 vaccine. The Manor Vaccine Project is a partnership between the City of Manor, Travis County, Manor ISD, as well as several community organizations such as the Manor COVID-19 Disaster Relief Task Force and the Manor Community Wellness Alliance. Event Key Information: Location: Manor Senior High School on FM 973. (If you google "Manor High School", you'll end up in the wrong location!)Dates: Saturday, May 8th: 3 shifts (7-11AM; 10:30AM-3PM; 2:30-6:30PM)You can sign up for multiple shifts. Other notes: ALL volunteers MUST complete a short HIPAA training course (Click Here For Link). Bring a screen shot or print out of your certificate. If you have previously completed the training, just bring your screen shot.Please be on time for your shift!Most positions will require you to be on your feet for the duration of the event. You will have the opportunity to take breaks, however.We have moved our vaccine clinic indoors (we used to be a drive thru). Meet outside the main entrance of the Manor Senior High School building. You will receive training at that time before moving to the station where you will work. If you are working in the 2nd or 3rd shift, you will be able to shadow the person you are replacing.Masks are required at all times.Only register for yourself. Please do not register other people on your order.We have both clinical and non-clinical volunteer opportunities available. Clinical opportunities (those qualified to give shots) are the hardest to fill. Feel free to recruit a friend who is qualified!We are running 3 shifts on Saturday. You may work 1, 2, or all 3.
