Very Busy. Larger Pre-Owned Motor Yacht Brokerage - we sell 28' to 70' boats at our dry land boat storage facility in Anacortes -WA seeking full time general worker. If you have the right, positive attitude, we will train. Much room for growth in the Marine Industry. Tasks include but are not limited to: □ Following directions and assisting yard manager in day to day work needs. Must be able to take direction well and be willing to listen and learn. □ Maintain yard keeping facility clean, safe and orderly. □ Hauling and launching boats with our Sea Lift (must have valid drivers license, be insurable and ability or experience to drive heavy equipment). □ Ability to operate a fork lift □ Must be able to lift 60 lbs. or more on occasional basis. □ Ability to wash boats up to 60' in length. □ Mechanical aptitude is desired - knowledge of boat engines, Inboard / Outboard and power systems like inverters and batteries and other boat mechanical requirements is preferred. □ Marine experience is highly desired - capability to operate single and twin engine boats and understanding of boat systems is preferred. □ Many other duties and tasks related to boat yard and boats as assigned. □ Willingness to work out doors in all weather. □ Must be dependable, trustworthy, loyal and have transportation. □ Must speak and understand English. □ We require and expect a positive, can-do attitude. □ Bad attitudes, addicts and grumps need not apply □ Expect crazy days filled with lot's of different tasks and many different directions in a fast-paced business. We sell 65 boats a year - more than a boat a week - so we're busy! We are a smoke/ vape/ drug /drink / dip / felon free work place and a family run business. A criminal and other background check will be performed as a condition of any employment. This is a 40 hour a week job. $15 per hour plus benefits available.
