Ajarn Pete Peterson Seminar – Saturday, May 22nd from 9 am – 12 noon Pete is the Head Official within the Thai Boxing Association and the TBA Muay Thai World Expo, which is the largest Muay Thai tournament in North America. He is the owner of Roundkick Muay Thai in Des Moines, Iowa. Here are some of Pete’s other accomplishments: • Class A Official with the United States Muay Thai Federation (USMF) • Certified Technical Official within the International Muay Thai Association (IFMA) and the World Muay Thai Council (WMC) • 30 plus years of experience in the sport (including as an amateur and pro athlete, coach, manager, promoter, referee and judge) This 3 hour seminar is open to all Fight Prime members and the public. Participants need to have a basic understanding of Muay Thai fundamentals. Pete will be focusing on drills and strategies to score and win amateur Muay Thai fights. He will also discuss the amateur scoring criteria and training/drilling scenarios that score and win! Those attending will leave with a better understanding of what scores and what does not in amateur Muay Thai along with a comprehensive understanding of drilling for multiple fighting scenarios.
