Free summer activity kits for Jefferson County girls ages 8-12. Girls Inc. of Hamblen County is partnering with Jefferson Health Care Foundation and East Tennessee Foundation to provide free summer activity kits for girls ages 8-12. The kits are all about Building a Better You and are created so your girl can do them on her own or with some adult help. Each activity is geared to inspire your girl to be strong, smart, and bold. Strong activities are created to inspire positive body image, healthy habits, and handling peer pressure. Smart activities focus on STEM and mental and emotional exercises. Bold activities help girls build a sense of value, personal safety, and self-care practices. Your girl will also receive a free Girls Inc. t-shirt, so make sure you order her size in the registration options. Pick up will be at the Dandridge Memorial Library on Wednesday, May 26 from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm.
