Labor Systems Temporary Services is looking for Underground Conductor Installer for a local construction company. Qualified candidates will lay pipe for storm sewers and gutter drains. Perform any combination of the following tasks: grade trenches or culverts, position pipe, or seal joints by performing the following: Essential Functions: Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers. Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Follow directions of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site. Check job site for property damage before starting the job. Operate a variety of machinery including skid steers, sod installers, seeders, tractors etc. Install or use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, or transit levels. Operates self-propelled grader to spread and level dirt, gravel, and stone to grade specifications in construction and maintenance of earthwork structures. Cut pipes and metal components for installation. Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue. Cover pipes with earth or other materials. Spread sand, dirt or other loose materials onto surfaces. Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools. Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to crawl and kneel for extended period Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Ability to bend, climb, lift throughout the day Be able to work outside in all conditions Candidates must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen.
