Job Overview Minimum Requirements: Must have a Valid Texas Driver's License Construction laborers perform labor work, generally as a member of a crew. Many tasks require physical labor on Construction Sites. A wide range of tasks are performed during all phases of the construction job in complexity from very easy to extremely difficult and hazardous. Work is conducted in a responsible and cooperative manner in the best interest of the company; so that employees and others and the general public are properly safeguarded at all times. Responsibilities and Duties • Assists crew leaders with various construction tasks • Form work for sidewalks and foundations • Concrete work - sidewalk and foundations - install and demolition • Installation of underground conduit • Assist with foundation drilling • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards • Clean work area, construction crew trucks, tools and equipment • Load and unload materials • Follow construction plans and instructions from crew leaders or more experienced workers • Work effectively as a team member • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without supervision • Perform all duties as assigned and in a safe manner Qualifications • Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test • Must have a good driving record and a valid Texas driver's license • Must be able to periodically work overnight, or on busy roadways, as needed • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and team lift over 80 pounds frequently • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions • Ability to work occasional to frequent overtime depending on project or business need Following methods to apply: Apply in person, call John Bartleson (Ext: 212) or Pat Knox (Ext:216) at 512- 255-9951. website: www.atscc.com Austin Traffic Signal Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
