Police found Gold with prescription bottles containing controlled substances in other people's names in her possession Monday at North Port police headquarters on City Hall Boulevard, Fox 13 reported. The prescription drugs in her possession included 17.8 grams of hydromorphone, 35 grams of oxycodone, 19.2 grams of hydrocodone, and small amounts of alprazolam, triazolam, and tramadol, reports said. Gold has held the title of forensic supervisor, a civilian position, since March of 2017, police said. "Nobody within our agency is above the law. Our promise to this community is to do whatever is necessary to hold everyone accountable for their actions," Chief Todd Garrison said.
